DARBY AND SOPHIA: CONROE, TX

Running.  Playing.  Smiles.  Laughter.  These are just a few of the things I got to witness during my photo session with brother and sister, Darby and Sophia.

They are your typical siblings... laughing, playing and trying to annoy one another!  Sophia took my instructions well to give her big brother a kiss and you can see from his reaction, that he secretly loves it just as much as she does!  They are great kids and a joy to work with.  We spent some time together at the pond in Teaswood in Conroe, TX.

It was a picture perfect afternoon with some gorgeous green grass and amazing light!  Mom and Dad, thanks for sharing your afternoon with me.  I look forward to photographing the whole family soon.

Here are some of my favorites from our time together.

Amazing light and location.

Sweet Baby Sierra

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of assisting on a photo shoot of an 8 week old baby girl.  Sweet baby Sierra.   Apparently she could not wait to get here and was delivered 6 weeks early. She had me at hello!  Sierra posed for the camera between bottles and outfit changes.  Fighting with all her might to keep from taking a well deserved nap.  I think she is all set for her career as a baby model.  Thank you to Elaine P. for allowing me to assist and to Mom and Dad for letting us spend the afternoon with their little angel.  Oh, and Mom and Dad, just in case you are interested I'll trade babysitting for photography services any day!

Here are a few of my favorites...

THE WOODLANDS: SENIOR PORTRAIT SESSION 2011: TORI

I was thrilled to be contacted about doing a Senior Portrait Session.  I was even more excited when it was decided we would be shooting Tori's pictures in Old Town Spring.  It really is one of the coolest locations for outdoor shooting.  My mind went into creative overload thinking of all the places I would like to take her.

Tori will be graduating from The Woodlands High School in June.  After graduation she plans to spend the summer in her hometown of The Woodlands before heading to Austin for school in August.  She will be pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.  Just spending a few hours with her I can see that she will be great with kids.  She has an easy going way and a sweet grace and charm that just draws you right in.

As you can see from the photos she is STUNNING.  Her legs are a gazillion miles long!  And that hair... Gorgeous.  I could have taken photos of her all day long.  And Tori, if you ever decided that art education can't keep you busy enough you could totally get a job as a model!

Here are some of my favorites from our session.  Believe me it was nearly impossible to narrow it down and I could have easily posted ALL of her final proofs - they were all wonderful.

Tori... you are beautiful

Love the heels!

Love the turquoise set against her hair and long black dress.

Thank you Tori for being willing to lay down in the grass!
